Description
Good Morning FOLKS from the "Rights Coast" of Canada. We're so lucky to have these inquisitive little creatures visiting our shores to breed and make a temporary homes. The east coast of Newfoundland, particularly Bonavista area is home to one of the largest breeding colonies in the World. The Puffin is so popular here that its been named the "Provincial Bird" of Newfoundland! Aren't they cute!! The morning we visited the Lighthhouse in Bonavista some of the breeding puffins had made their way over to the mainland from their little island colony!!
